Citron (Citrus medica Linn.) is an underutilized medicinally important fruit belonging to the family Rutacae. It is native to India and occurs naturally in the north-eastern states, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and in the Western Ghats.
In Himachal Pradesh, chirpine forests are found in ten districts out of 12 districts. The total amount of needle litter falling in pine forests is around 6.3t/ha per year depending on the density and maturity of the crop.
The pressing issue of environmental pollution prompts immediate action, particularly in analytical chemistry. A shift towards green analytical chemistry emphasizes eco-friendly practices. This transition has led to the development of green metric tools like the National Environmental Methods Index (NEMI), Analytical Eco-Scale (AES), and Analytical GREEnness Metric (AGREE).
The research study examined the knowledge level of open field vegetable growers regarding drip irrigation systems, discovering that 76.25% of them possess a strong understanding of its operation.
